Sludge dehydration - WWTP in Citluk, BIH

The sludge dehydration system in Čitluk consists of several units:

system of 3 pumps for the supply of sludge from the settling tank
sludge tank with continuous level meter and overflow level float
three-chamber polyelectrolyte preparation station and polyelectrolyte dosing pump
supply sludge pumps for dehydrator
sludge dehydration presses Huber RoS3Q with associated pneumatics and compressor

Management and monitoring of the system is located in the control cabinet located which is located in the proximity of the dehydration system. The main electrical cabinet contains switching elements for protection and control of individual parts of the system, as well as the central PLC Siemens S7-300, which collects all measuring signals and controls the actuators.

On the cabinet door there is a signaling, control potentiometers, measuring instruments and a 6" touch LCD for measuring data, alarms, and changing system operating parameters.

The automation system consists of:

Control cabinet with switching equipment for controlling system actuators, PLC Siemens Simatic S7-300 for system control and "touch" screen (size 6 ") for displaying measurement data, alarms and for setting system operating parameters
The system contains 3 frequency converters and application support for 2 control loops (sludge flow and polyelectrolyte flow regulation)
