WWTP Jana

A complete wastewater treatment plant was built next to the "Jana" soft drink factory. The newest method of membrane ultra-filtration was chosen for the purification method, which, after physico-chemical and biological purification, will prevent the release of any suspended matter and microorganisms into the stream, and thus achieve maximum protection. Excess sludge is fed to the sludge dehydration system. The supply, installation and commissioning of technology and mechanical equipment was performed by the companies Loveco d.o.o. and Cultor d.o.o. from Rijeka.

Our task was to design and implement the automation of a complete purification system. Automation includes:

11 electrical cabinets for technological equipment
PLC Siemens S7-400 CPU with 4 ET200 distributed modules connected to the Profibus network
PC-SCADA process management and monitoring system
WLAN system in the area of the treatment plant with 2 access points
Portable "Touch" panel connected to WLAN for system management
560 digital signals, 60 analog signals, 8 regulation loops
process meters: flow, level, pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, suspended particles
15 frequency converters, over 60 electric motor drives
